Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas10:21 pm
Prepping up for that sweet 14th date could get a little bit messy. Some of you might already have your outfits thought out, but for those of you who's still unsure of what to wear, here are some simple Valentine's day outfits with items you already own.
Here are 3 of my outfit suggestions for a brunch, casual, or dinner date.
Brunch is always a good idea, so spice up an awesome meal by wearing something special. For this look, play with a typical white shirt - printed or not. One style tip to dress up that plain ol' shirt is to wear a printed A-line skirt, by doing so, you could show off your femininity in a very subtle yet playful way. Finish the look off by wearing a cute platform heels and sling bag.
Go easy on the make up. Remember, this is brunch so don't go all-crazy with that new eye shadow palette, girl. However, make use of a good highlighter so you would look a bit more radiant than usual. Now, as a personal preference, try to ease on as well on matte-finish products, gear in to a more dewy look for that young and lively vibe.
You don't necessarily have to put make up on but if it's a part of your system to really do something on your face, I suggest you do a no make up look. Tie your hair in a messy bun and girl, I swear, you'll look as cute as a button.
But of course, dinner dates would have to be the most favorable valentine's day activity. If ever you're booked for a fancy dinner, then you have got to step your game up. Don't stress yourself by buying a new shining-shimmering-splendid dress which could cost you a fortune, instead, head back to your closet and pull out that LBD to good use.
You can never say no to an LBD since it is every girl's staple - spruce up your look by wearing an eye-catching red pumps but stay classy with minimal accessories. Fancy yourself by doing that smokey makeup you've been practicing for months and finish it off with a bold red lipstick!
