Since it was Maundy Thursday, there were no malls open aside from Gaisano Mall. For us to enjoy the day, we went to 2 different parks: People's Park and then to Crocodile Park. It's been a while since the last time I went to a zoo, and surprisingly, I enjoyed visiting crocodile park.
GOT INKED! Nah, had to have my stamp.
CROCODILE ICE CREAM FOR SALE! No, it is not what you think it is. They serve the typical ice cream so please, don't freak out now.
Perks of having a sister. She transforms into a mobile tripod! Look at her facial reaction though, she doesn't give a D at all!
Butterfly House was just around the corner, so we went inside as well. Back when we were kids, we used to go to the Butterfly House near Quezon Memorial Circle. Being able to enter the butterfly house in Davao made me reminisce my childhood.
For Dinner, we went to Luz Kinilaw instead of the usual fast food chains and restaurants. This isn't actually our first time here and we really got excited to eat here again.
Bagaybay (Grilled Fish Eggs) is my favorite dish from Luz Kinilaw, along with their humongous tuna tail.
Oh, by the way. Before we went back to out hotel, we dropped by Gaisano Mall just for these babies! It's been six years since the last time we ate Oishi Manju (Now called Moshi Manju). It's a Korean Cake with custard and chocolate fillings. This used to be our fave snack when we were kids, and I really wish CDO has oishi manju as well.
That's it for our first day in Davao.
Davao Crocodile Park and Butterfly house is located at Ma-a Davao City.
